Coach Chris Roche came to Farmingdale State in the summer of 2005. Since then, Chris has completely turned around the women's soccer program, compiling an overall record of 182-98-24, leading his team to eleven Conference Championships (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018) and eleven NCAA Tournament appearances (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018).
Over the past 14 seasons, Coach has won 10+ games 13 times. His winningest season came in 2018 with a 17-4-3 record, with a program-high eleven game win streak. He has coached four Skyline Rookie's of the Year ('06, '11, '14, '16), three Skyline Player's of the Year ('10, '15, '18) and a 3 Skyline Defensive Player of the Year ('12, '14 & '18). He has also coached 12 All-Region players, two of which were 3-time recipients of that award.
Prior to Farmingdale, he was the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Briarcliffe for two years, where he coached the team to an 18-8-2 record, as well as a number three ranking in the country in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
Chris graduated from the University of Scranton in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance. While studying at Scranton, he played one year of soccer and was then hired as the assistant coach.
This is also Fred's 15th season with the Rams. Fred holds a NSCAA National Diploma, National Youth License and a NSCAA High School Diploma. He is a lifelong resident of Hicksville and has been active in the local soccer community, training club teams for over 20 years.
His college days were spent attending Hofstra University. When not training and coaching, Fred enjoys spending time with his wife Dina and dog Harley.
Tracy enters her fifth season as a member of the Farmingdale coaching staff. Tracy received her Bachelor's Degree in English Secondary Education & Speech Communication with a certificate in Theatre. She received her Master's Degree from Stony Brook University. Currently, Tracy trains and coaches in the East Islip Soccer Club. She also coached at St Joseph's College, Long Island Junior Players Developmental Program, Bayport Bluepoint high school and youth teams in the Longwood Soccer Club.
Tracy holds her NSCAA National Diploma, Special Topics Diploma-Reading the Game, Level 6, National Youth License, Goalkeeping Level I Diploma, F License, National (USYS) for Constructive Soccer-Principles of Play certificate, Healthy Kids Out of School for Coaching Healthy Habits certificate, Concussion in Youth Sports Certificate, and Section XI Certification from Leeds Corporation of Long Island (Philosophy Principles and Organization of Athletics, Theory and Techniques of Coaching and Health Science Applied to Coaching).
Ashley enters her third season as an assistant coach. Ashley played for the Farmingdale Rams from 2013-2016 as a goalkeeper and was nominated as a captain in her 2016 senior season. On top of the day-to-day coaching assistance and operations,Ashley is also in charge of the Farmingdale Women's Soccer Social Media Accounts. Ashley graduated from Farmingdale College in 2017 with a Bachelor Degree in Sport Management.
